The Story of the Monkey Fishing the Moon

Once upon a time, there was a monkey who lived in a forest. One night, while he was walking in the forest, he saw the reflection of the moon in the water. The monkey thought that the moon had fallen into the water and he decided to save it.

He went to the edge of the water and tried to pick up the moon, but he couldn't reach it. Then, he had an idea. He used a long stick and tried to pull the moon out of the water. But the more he tried, the more the moon seemed to move away from him.

The monkey was very determined. He went to the other side of the water and tried to pull the moon from there. But the moon still seemed to be out of his reach. The monkey was getting tired and frustrated, but he didn't give up.

Finally, a wise old turtle came by and saw the monkey's efforts. The turtle told the monkey that the moon was not in the water, but in the sky. The monkey felt foolish, but he was grateful for the turtle's help.

From that day on, the monkey learned to be patient and to think before acting. He also learned that sometimes, things are not what they seem, and it's important to seek help from others.
